After a trial at the GPC World Championships a new lifting category has been added to the competition schedule. So, at Nationals this year, you will also have the option to compete in the new Soft Bench category. This category resides somewhere in between Raw & Equipped benching. Competing with the use of a bench aid such as one of the following.
Raven 2.0 Widow Maker Bench Monster Slingshot Titan Ram
As this is a new category, not only do those competing get to set the standard, but most of the records are up for grabs. You can see the full record sheet on the website HERE.
