Why or How did you get into lifting?
Asked for a gym programme just to focus on getting stronger, didn’t even know what powerlifting was at the time…enter Ritchie Penkert!.
What music do you listen to while you train?
Everything from sad country songs to dance music

What is your favourite pre or post training/recovery tip?
Pre usually light food. Post all the food and stretching my lower back!
What is your favourite lift and why?
Varies…love /hate relationship with them all! But squat at the moment.
What is your favourite memory from a competition?
Love the lifts but favourite memories are always the camaraderie between lifters and the pure high after last deadlift
What other sports or interests are you involved in? What are you doing when you’re not lifting?
Like an odd spin class, when I’m not lifting I spend my time thinking about lifting, eating and talking
