We have made GPC Ireland and our website even better!
This post is an informative post on changes and additions made to GPC Ireland and our website. Its purpose is to help you use our website better.
Tomorrow, 6th January sees Christmas officially end. 6th January is traditionally known as “Little Christmas” ( lá Nollag beag ) or “Womens Christmas”. Its when all the Christmas decorations are taken down and in saying that our Christmas decorations to our website will end.
Before I get into what has changed then firstly I will tell you what has NOT changed. Niall Reddan is still second best Powerlifter but he remains hopeful for 2025. The New Year sees opportunity knocking for Niall Reddan but as usual he is not at home.
GPC Ireland Powerlifting going from strength to strength!
GPC Ireland Powerlifting had 11,000 visitors to their website in 28 days ( last month ). This makes Powerlifting News website the number one ranked website for Powerlifting and is a credit to our media team.
This has not gone unnoticed by our sponsors either who have agreed to sponsor our 4 nations competition on 19th July and hosted by GPC Ireland.
GPC Ireland website has seen a lot of firsts for Irish and World Powerlifting:
- We are the worlds first Powerlifting federation to have an APP
- We are the first Irish Federation to have a website that is not only fun and informative but gives recognition to the lifters (from beginner to advanced), coaches, gym owners and promoters with our Lifters Profiles, GymSpy and Spotlight features
- We are the first to provide an online payment system that is fully automated to pay entry fees and memberships while at same time creating your own personal account with secure login details created by you so as you can view your history of events entered and receipts. All receipts and invoices are emailed to you automatically but you can still view all in your account with us online.
- We also provide live contact as well as other contact details but live contact remembers you and can open previous conversations for you by one click, a first for Powerlifting Federation websites.
- Limerick will be the first to hold a GPC Ireland “Awareness” competition. This will be an annual event in GPC Calendar
We have a countdown clock on our home page to GPC Irelands next competion.
We have added a new Events Calendar which will show all GPC national and International events for the year. By clicking on any event will bring you to that events dedicated page with venue, weigh-in and Google Map details but more importantly you can enter this event by simply clicking on “Entry Form” and filling in form and payment details at ANYTIME! You can enter any competition at your own convenience at anytime.
To enter a competition then click on Entry Form button on events page.
We are a safe and secure website with our own security protocols but we take online payments via PayPals secure website which adds even more security for your purchases.
As stated you can download our APP for android at anytime by clicking on the “Google Play” button.
GPC Ireland now add all our results, both future and past events, to Open Powerlifting. Our “Results page will be the link to the competition in Open Powerlifting but you can also check GPC Ireland ranking and lifter details on the “Open Powerlifting” logo on our website.
